Here is Troy’s Miracle
My Mother called me on the 25th of March and told me she had some bad news.
My cousin Troy had been rushed to the hospital, but didn’t have but a very low chance of living. They had preformed brain surgery, but still the chances was very low.
We live in Tennessee and they lived in Florida, so we asked that they keep us informed about his condition.
It was looking very bad, so Mom and I decided maybe we could help. So we went to Florida.
My Aunt,Troy’s Mom had been at the hospital for days and wouldn’t leave, along with other members of the family. Everyone was worn out.
Mom and I decided to stay the night at the hospital, hoping to give my Aunt Diana a rest. I believe she did sleep some that night.
The next day after the Doctor had been in to see Troy he called us to the room and said “He doesn’t have any brain waves and I believe it is best to let him go, he will never wake up”
We were so sad, but my Aunt Diana said ” I will never give up”.
The Doctor told her there was no hope of him ever coming out of the coma. She replied with prayer I believe he can. So we all left the room Intensive Care room and went back to the waiting room.
Then my Aunt Diana went back to Troy’s room. In a few minutes she came back and said “Edie, I know if you pray for Troy it will help. Please will you go and sit with him and pray”. I said of course I will.
When I got into the room, I didn’t know what to ask for or what to do.
There was a bible laying on the table, so I picked it up and held it, then I thought “Well, when I meditate I ask God to send down his white light of healing power and heal whatever I have that needs healing, so I will do that”
That is what I did. As I was meditating,with my eyes closed and asking God to help Troy wake up and heal, I heard a noise that caused me to open my eyes and look at Troy, there was a white light around Troy’s body.
I took a deep breath in shock, because I had never seen the white light with my eyes open before,always with them closed.
At this time the door opened and it was the nurse, she had come to ask me to leave, because I had been in there long enough.
Still in shock I left Troy’s room. I didn’t tell anyone what I had seen, I just told my Aunt Diana that there wasn’t a change. About thirty minutes later the Doctor came running down the hall from Troy’s room.
He came in and told us that Troy was waking up and coming out of the coma. He couldn’t believe it. You should have seen the look of joy on the Doctor’s face and ours has well.
Today Troy is doing well. He has some problems moving around,but he is working with them and we have hope that some day in the future he will be back to himself again.
So that is Troy’s miracle and mine as well.
